If you’re a horse owner then we’re pretty sure you will have heard of the dreamy Haas grooming brushes by now. So who are Haas and what makes their brushes different from the rest?
Haas brushes are made in Germany. The Haas manufacturer dates back to 1919 and now specialises in grooming products for horses. The company believes that grooming isn’t just for cleaning, it’s also an activity for horse and rider to bond. You will see on the brush range that they feature a hand strap – this was added and patented by Haas in 1987. These brushes are produced without the need for nails or pins as the hand strap is attached before the brush bristles. Therefore the strap cannot be loosened or pulled out. This helps to keep the chance of injury very small. Haas do not use wooden brush backs on their brushes instead preferring to use specially selected synthetic materials. Here are just a few benefits:
- Hygienically unbeatable (brushes are washable)
- Water resistant
- No possibility of the brush back splitting
- Reduced chance of injury
- Accurate assembly of the brushes
- Better anchorage of the bristles
- Easy and comfortable to use
- Long lasting brushes
Each brush in the Haas range has a specific composition of bristle mixtures depending on it’s intended purpose. You can read more about these in each brush’s individual description. The brushes are designed for the well being of the horse and well as providing expert comfort for the user.
