Creating The Perfect Pony Bedroom for Your Little Horse Lover

Creating The Perfect Pony Bedroom for Your Little Horse Lover

As all of us equestrians know, a love for horses cant help but take over your life! If your little one is already proving she is totally nuts about horses they why not create her the perfect pony bedroom to relax and play in throughout the day. Here at The Horse Diva we have plenty of horse-themed treasures to decorate your child's bedroom whilst she is dreaming about her next pony ride.

Start with a Horse-Themed Colour Scheme

A pony bedroom does not need to be bright pink from floor to ceiling. See if your little pony lover has any preference but colours that often work well are soft pastel shades, sage green, duck egg blue, cream, or warm neutrals. These can then be changed and updated as your child gets older.

Fill with Horsey Accessories

Accessories are your key to transforming the space into the perfect pony paradise. These ideas can also be easily changed to update the room. Add personality with

  • Pony Bedding - The Horse Show Duvet Set is a great option with its pretty equestrian print on a white background. Will work with a range of colours.
  • Cushions - Who doesn't love a scatter cushion? Find some horse themed ones for your little one to cosy up to.
  • Alarm Clock - Make sure your tot wakes up on time for school or for a riding lesson with the Miss Melody Alarm Clock.
  • Equestrian Themed Storage Baskets - Keep the room neat and tidy with some horsey themed storage baskets. We have the smaller Jumps Storage Tin that is perfect for hair accessories or little trinkets.
  • Horse Wall Art - This could be a specific piece of wallpaper with an equestrian design or you can use something like the Wild Horses Wall Stickers which can be applied to a wall space.

Make a Cosy Reading Corner

Encourage quiet time with a dedicated horsey reading area, A beanbag, soft blanket, and a small shelf of pony books can create a peaceful corner where children can escape into their favourite horse stories.

Don't Forget the Finishing Touches

It's the little things that can make all the difference in creating a comfortable welcoming environment for your child. A nice pony mug and a coaster to have by the side of the bed is perfect for a night time drink or a yummy hot chocolate whilst reading a book. The Miss Melody Jewellery Box looks lovely on a dressing table to keep bracelets and necklaces safe ready for all those pony birthday parties!

A pony bedroom is more than just a decorated room, it's a space that celebrates a child’s love of horses and encourages their imagination and creates their happy place. Whether you are giving a bedroom a complete makeover or simply adding a few horse-themed touches, the right accessories can make all the difference.
